Stayin' alive

Last week, Dan & I started working out with Turbo Jam, a dance- and kickboxing-based workout series created by Chalene Johnson. Dan hasn't really exercised much since graduating from college in 2001, and I've been doing The Firm (pretty regularly) and Winsor Pilates (periodically) since we moved to our new town last summer.

Dan gets a bit frustrated b/c all the moves are new to him and he's never worked out with a DVD before. I know he can figure it out, though, and I'm hoping this exercise regimen will help him to have more energy and sleep better. He certainly needs that with all the traveling he does!

I don't have a lot of weight to lose (definitely no more than 15lbs, but probably no more than 10lbs), so I'm more interested in toning up and staying fit. Of course, I hope that I won't be able to do this much longer b/c of conceiving...hey, we can always hope! Smile
