bareMinerals update
I really like this makeup! It was hard the first couple of days, b/c I felt like I didn't look made-up. How's that for a problem? ;o) Really, though, I thought I looked like I'd just washed my face. Someone suggested taking before & after pictures, and when I did, I realized that it is covering.
;o) I've been using the foundation (+ mineral veil, which I adore, and the teensiest bit of warmth you could ever imagine -- two pin pricks in the sifter cover) for a bit over a week, and when my best friend says it looks great and my husband says that every little tweak I've made in my beauty routine has made me look better & better (he's a darling)...I guess it's working for me. :)
Today is the seventh anniversary of Bare Escentuals on QVC (though the company is about 20 yrs old), and I ordered some eye stuff. I got a set of three eye shadows (technically called glimpses b/c they have a little bit of shimmer), a shadow brush, and a kit of two liner shadows + a liner brush.
I love makeup! I always have, and it's fun to have a new one to try. If I like the whole line, Dan's excited by the prospect of never having to go into the cosmetics section of stores anymore. ;o) What a silly boy!
